Usability and Document Design Projects
In my Usability and Document Design course with Dr. Chris Warnick, I completed a range of projects focused on user-centered communication and visual design. These included creating a professional leaflet and conducting a usability test on a real-world website, where I developed a testing script, observed user interactions, and analyzed patterns in navigation and task completion.
Through these projects, I built skills in audience analysis, information hierarchy, and document layout, as well as hands-on experience with usability testing methods like task design, think-aloud protocols, and qualitative analysis. I also strengthened my ability to translate research findings into clear, visually engaging deliverables, reinforcing both my design thinking and my attention to clarity, accessibility, and user experience.
