About Me!

Hello! My name is Abbey, a 21 year old student and aspiring editor / writer who loves anything that has to do with literature. Whether it be fiction, nonfiction, academic materials, magazines... I am in for it all.

My education:
-Full International Baccalaureate Diploma Recipient; Graduated with highest honors in 2022 from The Prout School
-Double majoring: Bachelor of Arts in English (Concentrated in Creative Writing) and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (Concentrated in Global Studies); Graduating in 2026 from the College of Charleston
-Double minoring: Spanish Language and Writing, Rhetoric, & Publication; Graduating in 2026 from the College of Charleston

My writing expertise: Creative materials, professional writing (technical, academic, et. cetera), journalism—and I am open to more. I am a very adaptive and devoted writer.

Extra info about me: Besides writing, I enjoy spending my free time exploring my area around me. I'm originally from Rhode Island and went to college in Charleston, South Carolina to see what more the world had to offer—and boy, was I right in that decision. Spending time with friends, watching cheesy movies, and walking are usually how I pass my time. I also have an adorable 1 year old white cat named Percy; he has heterochromia (one blue and one brown eye) and is by far the most intense and lovable creature on this planet. Recently, I have also gotten into pilates and running, which are two activities I find enlightening in that I get to challenge myself for a positive, long-term benefit. The takeaway of this little blurb about me? I am an open-minded individual who longs to experience for the sake of experience, and who continues to grow into the best outcome I can be.
